P: Drive Remote Connection
Mapping PDRIVE folder: Windows 7 or Vista
1. Open Windows Explorer (start-programs-accessories)
2. Scroll down to Network...Right Click and select -
Map Network Drive.
3. On the Map Network Drive screen, click Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures, and then click Next.
4. Click Choose a custom network location, and then click Next.
In the “Internet or network address” field, enter:
For faculty: https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/facultyweb/YOURUSERID, and then click Next.
For students: https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/studentweb/YOURUSERID, and then click Next.
For student project space: https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/project/PROJECTNAME, and then click Next
5. Enter your PSU access account credentials.
You may now drag and drop folders between your computer and the pdrive site. To delete an item, right-click it and select Delete. This connection will continue to be present in your Windows Explorer. You will be required to re-enter your credentials after restarting your system.
Mapping PDRIVE folder: Windows XP
For faculty: https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/facultyweb/YOURUSERID, and then click Next.
For students: https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/studentweb/YOURUSERID, and then click Next.
For student project space: https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/project/PROJECTNAME, and then click Next
6. Enter your PSU access account credentials.
You may now drag and drop folders between your computer and the pdrive site. However, you cannot delete items from a site by dragging them to the Recycle Bin on your desktop. To delete an item, right-click it and select Delete. This connection will continue to be present in your Windows Explorer. You will be required to re-enter your credentials after restarting your system.
Mac users can connect to the P:Drive Web Connection by the following steps in OSX:

For student project space: https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/project/PROJECTNAME, and then click Next
Linux users can connect to the P:Drive Web Connection by the following steps:
1. Verify you have the Cadaver ( http://www.webdav.org/cadaver/) components installed
2. Enter the following command:
For faculty: cadaver https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/facultyweb/YOURUSERID
For students: cadaver https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/studentweb/YOURUSERID
For student project space: cadaver https://pdrive.bd.psu.edu/project/PROJECTNAME
Note: You will be prompted to enter your credentials to access your P: drive. Once prompted, please enter your PSU Access credentials in the following manner:
username: Access ID
password: your Access/email password
Notice: 3/19/2012: The "Hidden" attribute must be removed for all files on your Pdrive prior to copying from the Web Connect. This attribute must be de-selected while mapped to P: drive on-campus. Any file with the "Hidden" attribute will be ignored during a file copy attempt. To remove the "Hidden" attribute from a file...In Windows Explorer please take steps to Show all files ...then: Right click the file.. choose Properties..and deselect the check box.
3/19/2012: Files generated by JBuilder have been identified as having an issue when attempting to copy to or from the P: Drive Web Connection. This is due to the xxxx.java~x~ file extension. Either rename or zip these files to copy to the P: Drive Web Connect.
